The Schreiber Public Library Board held a ceremony to unveil the Rossport Book Box, officially named “Linda’s Library”. This “Little Free Library” encourages the community to “take a book, share a book” to circulate cherished stories. The event honoured Linda Trapp for her 22 years of dedicated service (1998–2021) as a Local Services Board representative. Board members Kelly Chisholm and Brenda Asmussen highlighted Linda’s contributions.
The project was a collaborative effort funded by John McDonald and constructed by Frank Hodder, Maurice Thiboutot and Lake Superior High School students. Linda expressed her pride in the library’s growing community profile and thanked the board for the recognition.
